How this work goes

Bellex Epoxy Flooring is the epoxy floor work we offer. It is a coating on a concrete slab, often a garage, basement, or shop. Ask about it with the rest of your project.

From first call to finished work

What to expect

  1. 1

    Tell us about the slab

Call or use the contact page. Say where the floor is and how you use it: parking, a workshop, or a room you want easier to clean.

  2. 2

    Look at the concrete

We check cracks, oil, old paint, and whether the slab needs repair before a coating will hold. A coating only works if the surface under it is sound.

  3. 3

    Prepare the surface

The concrete is cleaned and mechanically opened up so the epoxy can bond. Dust and loose material are taken off before any coating goes down.

  4. 4

    Repair, then base coat

Cracks and broken spots are filled. A base coat of epoxy is rolled or spread across the floor.

  5. 5

    Color and top coat

A solid color is one option. Color flakes can be broadcast into the wet coating if you want that speckled look. A clear top coat then seals the floor.

  6. 6

    Let it cure

The floor has to cure before cars, tools, or heavy use. We will tell you when yours is ready. The wait depends on the product and the temperature, so this page does not promise a number of hours.
